City of Chicopee Republican Committee Meeting Draws Newcomers and Speakers.
The City of Chicopee Republican Committee Meeting held this past Saturday was extremely well attended, included were several newcomers who had expressed an interest in the Committee. Dr. Jay Flietman, a candidate for the U.S. Congress running against incumbent, Richard Neal, and Greg Neffinger, a candidate for State Representative 6th Hampden District, both spoke to the assembly. The next meeting will be held, Sunday, March 7th at 1:00 p.m., the location is TBA. Chicopee Republican Committee meetings are open to the public, and interested parties are encouraged to attend. Scott Brown Opens WMass Campaign Headquarters
Scott Brown, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, was in attendance for the Grand Opening of his Holyoke Campaign Headquarters yesterday. Chicopee, MA, Ward 8 City Council Primary Results – David Schryver Wins Place on Ballot – Will Face Incumbent Demers in November Election.
Fromthe Springfield Republican, David Schryver, will face incumbent Donald Demers in the November election. The primary turnout was low, with only thirteen percent of registered voters casting ballots. The City primary is bi-partisan; the two candidates receiving the highest votes face off in the general election.
